Christmas Lights Recalled by Sun Sun Industries

Sun Sun Industries Inc., of Carlstadt, NJ, is recalling 12,000 sets of miniature Christmas lights. The lights have undersized wires that can easily pull out of the plugs and light sockets, posing electric shock and fire hazards to consumers.

The recalled lights are sets of 100 miniature lights in various colors that are steady burning or flashing. The red box reads in part, "100 MINIATURE LIGHTS, MADE IN CHINA, IMPORTED BY SUN SUN INDUSTRIES, INC." A Christmas tree is on the box. The lights were sold in M&S Bargain Hunter stores throughout New York from October 2000 to December 2000 for about $2.
